Grace United Church offers programs to reach out to seniors in our community.
Strengthen and Stretch with Susanne Monday and Wednesday 1-2:15 pm in the loft
Research has shown that physical activity reduces the risk of heart disease, diabetes, and colon cancer. It reduces high blood pressure, relieves depression and anxiety, and helps control our weight. Those who exercise regularly maintain strength, balance, are more supple and are able to move without falling.
Join this group which will focus on becoming fit with a focus on stretching and flexibility, strength training, and balance. Exercises can be done sitting or standing.
Cost: $8 per class with a 4 class commitment.

COVID 19 update: The Strengthen and Stretch Program has been virtual since March 2020. They have recently returned to live programming in the loft starting with previous participants. $8 per class. Entry by the east doors.
Line Dancing with Janis Thursdays 1-2 pm
This program is geared to beginner and intermediate dancers. Cost $6 per session.

New in the fall of 2019. Do you already know Tai Chi but looking for a group to practice with? We have a place.
