Book Club @ Grace
Book Club @ GRACE (Great Reads Always Captivate Everyone) might meet your interests if you enjoy reading and discussing fiction, memoirs and biographies, and socializing with other readers. The group is open to everyone who belongs to, or worships at Grace United Church, Burlington. We meet on the fourth Monday of every month (Sept – June, except December) to discuss a different book, opening and closing the meeting with prayers related to the subject matter of the book. In June, the members of the group nominate books and vote to select 8. Each month we rate the book we discuss, and by May we have a winner to recommend to the congregation. During the summers of 2020 and 2021, we had virtual meetings, to chat about what we were reading during our pandemic isolation. We look forward to getting back together in person when that’s safe to do, but for now, we enjoy meeting on Zoom.
