Season of Creation
We have the opportunity to celebrate God the Creator and to reflect on our human responsibility as creature of earth to serve and protect all of life.
There is an urgent need to find solutions to the crisis facing our common home-earth. Together we are fulfilling our role as Stewards of God’s creation.
The Children are invited to participate each week by bringing forward items that represent that weeks theme.
SEPTEMBER 9TH : as we begin our season of creation we start with the air we breathe.
SEPTEMBER 16TH: we worship this Sunday with the land remembering God’s Creation of soil, plants and trees and learning how Tansley is helping to preserve God’s gift.
SEPTEMBER 23RD: We join the Psalmists on this third Sunday of Creation as we explore the planet’s water and wondrous creatures of the deep.
OCTOBER 7TH: this is Worldwide Communion Sunday and we celebrate with all the different countries and nationalities. God made us all to be loved, respected and accepted.
