Welcome to Grace United Church in Burlington Ontario!

I am honoured to represent Grace United Church as the current Board Co-Chair. I am incredibly grateful to our Board and their committee members for their commitment to Grace’s core values and our community, both within and beyond our church walls. And I must also acknowledge and thank our staff team, including our Lead Minister, Richard Bott. We are blessed to receive their gifts of service and leadership.

At Grace United Church, we are proud of our guiding principle – Learning, Growing, Connecting in Grace, and along with our core values, it guides our work as a Board and as a community of faith. For this year, we have focused on 3 specific priorities as part of our Board Ministry Plan:

1. Faith – To guide ourselves and others to both live our faith and express our faith, so that we walk the talk and talk the walk deliberately, openly and confidently.
2. Growth – To actively grow in self and in community so that we deepen our knowledge, widen our reach, and expand our resources.
3. Connection – To cultivate connections within and outside our church so that we strengthen our understanding of others, offer a safe space for all, and multiply our impact in God’s world.

As we continue to live out God’s plan for us, I hope that you will become involved in church life. We are on an exciting journey and are eager to have you join us!
